Rashes are an area of the skin that is irritated and swollen, often accompanied by a noticeable raising of the skin and redness. Generally, a skin rash is an acute reaction of the body. In some cases, though, it can indicate a chronic condition. Depending on the type of rash, symptoms can vary, but the following are some symptoms that are common to most:

In children, rashes can form because of ringworm, or acne, depending on your child’s age. It is often treated with antihistamine medications to help avoid scratching and itching.

We may also need your primary care doctor’s phone number and address if we need to transfer records.
