Casidhe Hoyt

Medical Assistant

Why did you choose to work in the medical field?

I chose to work in the medical field because I want to make people’s seemingly stressful experiences more positive! I love meeting new people everyday and providing everyone a positive experience through empathy, compassion, and genuine 1:1 connection!

What’s your hidden talent?

I have played the viola since I was 10 years old!

What’s your favorite place you have been to thus far? And where would you like to go next?

Chicago is definitely my favorite city; The art & culture is unmatched! I have always wanted to visit Thailand.. Maybe this year I will take my first international trip!

What’s your favorite dish and where can we get it?

My favorite dish is Lobster Bisque! You can get it at most seafood restaurants, BUT as a New England girl born and raised.. I am slightly biased that New England states have superior tasting seafood..

If you could have dinner with anyone who would that be and what would you ask them?

If I could have dinner with anyone, I would have dinner with Jay Shetty. I would ask him about his time in India as a monk & how it shaped his ‘life coaching’ style that’s changed the way millions of people think(including myself).

What do you absolutely love to do in your free time and why?

I love to lift weights & compete in bodybuilding outside of work! Bodybuilding has not only challenged my physical strength, but my mental strength more than any activity I’ve ever participated in. It’s taught me that limitations only exist in your head; You are capable of accomplishing whatever you believe you are capable of!

What’s your favorite quote that you live by?

“Every action you take is a vote for the person you wish to become” – James Clear

Why do you like working at Bayside Urgent Care Center?

I love the people I get to work with everyday! Everyone is incredible at their roles here in the clinic, but we also have so much fun doing so! I’m also so appreciative for the PAs who always include me in unique procedures so that I can gain exposure and education before my own journey through PA school.
