During your visit, you will be evaluated by Bayside Urgent Care medical professionals who will discuss your overall health. They will check for signs of illness or chronic conditions that may prevent you from performing your job duties. If any concerns come up, they may ask for specialized testing like blood work or diagnostic imaging.

Pre-Employment physicals will check your:

• Height
• Weight
• Heart
• Lungs
• Reflexes
• Abdomen
• Skin and nails
• Vital signs (heart rate, pulse, temperature, respiration)

Depending on the employer, you may also need to take a drug test.

What to Bring When You Visit

To get the most out of your visit and to help our medical team, be sure to bring:

• All forms from your employer that we need to help you complete
• A list of your medications, vitamins, and supplements along with dosages
• Information about past surgeries and illnesses
• Dates of screening examinations and vaccinations
• Your primary care doctor’s address and phone number in case we need to transfer records
• Any questions and concerns you want to talk over with our team

You should come prepared, so that you will get the most out of your visit. Additionally, we will have the chance to talk about your current health.

Yes. We accept several major insurance carriers, including Medicare. If you prefer to pay out-of-pocket, your physicals are reasonably priced.
