Pain and Discomfort Treatment to Help You Feel Better
When you are experiencing pain and discomfort, you want to alleviate the problem and get help fast. Urgent care centers can provide a wide range of medical services to ease your suffering.
At Bayside Urgent Care Center, our medical team is ready to handle problems that are not life-threatening. Open 365 days a year, Bayside Urgent Care Center is conveniently located in Clearwater, Florida. And we are always welcoming new patients, and appointments are not necessary.
When Should You Go to an Emergency Room?
You can visit or call our urgent care center when you are feeling any pain or discomfort that you know is not life-threatening.
However, are times when your symptom is an indication of something that could be more serious and require a emergency care.
Go to the ER or call 911 if you are experiencing:- Intense chest pain
- Severe head injury
- Heavy bleeding
- Large open wounds
- Warning signs of a stroke: sudden dizziness, change in vision, numbness, trouble speaking or understanding speech
- Major burns

What to Expect During Your Visit
During your appointment, you will be evaluated by a Bayside Urgent Care medical professional who will ask you about the pain or discomfort you are experiencing. We will also perform a physical exam and check your vital signs. Depending upon the kind of pain or discomfort you are having, we may ask for additional testing like bloodwork, diagnostic imaging, or lab cultures.
What to Bring When You Visit?
Know your family medical history and be prepared to give this information to the doctor and medical staff. Be ready to tell us about any medications you take, including vitamins and supplements that you use. Also, tell us about any past medical or surgical history. You may also need your primary care doctor's phone number and address if we need to transfer records.
What If I Need Medication?
If your condition is treatable with medication, Bayside Urgent Care Center dispenses some medication onsite, saving you from making a second stop at a pharmacy.
Does Bayside Urgent Care Accept Insurance?
Yes. We accept several major insurance carriers, including Medicare. If you are uninsured, or prefer to pay out-of-pocket, our services are reasonably priced and less expensive than an ER visit.
